Matt bartended my husband's 40th birthday party at our place in Wash Park last month — about 35 people, full bar plus a signature old fashioned he helped us pick out. He showed up an hour early to set up, brought his own bar tools and shaker, and had everything dialed in before the first guest arrived. The line never got long, drinks were strong but balanced, and he was genuinely friendly with everyone without being in the way. A few guests asked who he was and where to book him. Already planning to have him back for our holiday party. Worth every penny.

A friend who worked with Matt suggested we talk to him for our reception in late September. It was for about 70 guests at a venue in RiNo that didn't include bar service. Right off the bat he was super easy to work with (which we also heard about from our friends) and Matt helped us figure out what and how much we needed to actually buy. If it wasn't for him we would have overbought by a ton! He helped put together a shopping list that came in under what we'd budgeted. The day of our event, he arrived early, set up a clean and organized bar, and ran service for four hours straight like it was nothing. Some friends afterward asked for his contact info for their invite which to me is a huge vote of confidence. He made a custom drink for us, which was a major highlight. If you're getting married or have an event you're planning that requires a bartender, just book him.
