Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My name is Mike Turay. I am a baseball player in the Milwaukee Brewers organization. I am currently in my off season, and I am interested in giving lessons to kids of all ages, including those in high school. I attended University of Nevada Reno, where I played baseball for 3 years from 2009 to 2011. In 2012, I transferred for my senior year to California State Stanislaus, where I was drafted in the 24th round by the Milwaukee Brewers. My main position is catcher, but throughout my years of college and professional baseball, I have played outfield and infield as well. I would be interested in giving lessons in hitting, catching and fielding. I have a very good understanding of this game and like to share my knowledge with kids who love this game like I do. There are not a lot of professional athletes who offer lessons, so I believe this is a unique situation for kids of all ages to improve on their baseball skills in the off season. Please contact me to discuss prices and location of lessons.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I would like to give hitting, catching and fielding lessons. Teaching a skill is something that could not be taught in one lesson so I would like to keep seeing clients until I see improvement. Depending on what type of skill the client requests will decide what we will do that day. I would also be fine with doing multiple things during the lesson time, if the client wanted to work on hitting and fielding that would be fine.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The best piece of advice I would give to someone looking for lessons for their kids would be to find someone with credibility. Like I said earlier I know way to many people that don't know much about baseball but act like they do. Those type of people are just hurting the kids that go to them. You have to find someone that knows what they are talking about.
