From the initial conversation all the way down the completed project, Caleb was fantastic. Our project took longer than expected to get to the template time, but Caleb reserved my slabs in advance so we were ready to go when needed. He took his time making the template so there wouldn't be any surprises on install day. Other contractors at the house that day also noticed his attention to detail. Colorado and Wyoming Granite did a phenomenal job with our kitchen. They installed a large kitchen island, two kitchen counter top areas and a bathroom countertop. Also they installed tile backsplash, a new sink, new garbage disposal, and new faucet. They are truly a 'one-stop-shop!' Caleb was extremely helpful picking out the granite slab while suggesting colors and styles. He gave us the best price out of more than 8 bids and saved us thousands of dollars. His crew was very polite, friendly, helpful, and obsessed with perfection. They finished in one day and were a pleasure to have in our house. Several days later they followed up to make sure everything was working and installed to our satisfaction. Caleb came out and gave us an estimate that he said was "very low." We agreed to use his company but he did not communicate well at all. When I questioned him about his "full" deposit upfront policy, saying I wasn't comfortable paying more than half upfront, he didn't respond except for leaving me a message on Thumbtack that he wouldn't be doing business with us. I communicated with you 100%. My contract clearly states that jobs under $2000 are to be paid in full. Not only did I give you great pricing, which is why you selected me but I agreed to turn the job around really quick. I am not interested in taking the risk of working with someone that has a problem with paying. I had already made several trips to your job-site as well as spent time with you looking at material. I will copy and paste the message I sent you but it is very unbecoming to intentionally misrepresent what actually happened. Good morning, I just wanted to follow up with you. I have put my best foot forward on pricing and providing a quick installation date. I sent over the work agreement with dates & details but it looks like we have gotten to a place where neither one of us are comfortable moving forward. When I offer very discounted pricing with a quick turn around on a job less tan $2,000.00 I always require payment in full as stated in the work agreement provided.
