I’ve been able to hire Hector around a house I’m remodeling a few times. He’s an absolute peach. His work is good craftsmanship - working with many vendors this year, I appreciate him more and more. It is truly hard to find reliable, decent people to work with. The demo job, I thought okay get rid of this old crap, but I learned there is an art to it. He covered light boxes, preserved critical elements nicely, asked plenty of questions, etc. He follows through on items without prompt. He sets expectations and kindly lets me know if my hopes, budget, expectations aren’t doable and brainstorms with me to find a solution. I’m new at this, and appreciate Hector teaching me things along the way and being patient with my anxiousness. If he’s available, snatch him up!

Hector did a beautiful job repairing and replacing the railing on our balcony! The quality of his craftsmanship is excellent! He took his time to make sure the railing was perfect and it is better than what we had before! The little details were a wonderful surprise and I couldn't be happier with the project! He was easy to work with, accommodating to my hectic schedule, and was very clean! Not to mention his price was very reasonable. I plan to hire and recommend Hector for any carpentry project in the future!

We couldnt be happier with our new deck! Our contractor was responsible, reliable, and incredibly easy to work with from start to finish. He is truly a perfectionist who takes pride in his work, pays attention to every detail, and makes sure everything is done right. He was also a great communicator throughout the entire project, which made the whole process so much easier. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor who is dependable, skilled, and genuinely cares about the quality of his work!

LOOK AT BEFORE AND AFTERS!! Hector and his team helped us with a HUGE remodeling project including a new ensuite bathroom build for our primary bedroom, a downstairs bathroom remodel, and a complete reframing of the basement to finish out a laundry room and 2 additional bedrooms. He was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish! We had to revise our plans SEVERAL times in order to get permitting approved with the city, and Hector was patient and helped us every step of the way. When it was time to firm up the scope of work, everything was very detailed and pricing was upfront and fair so there was never a question of what was going to be completed or how much we were going to pay.You don't find very many contractors like Hector these days. He is honest, shows up on time, and is understanding and open when things need to be changed (which, in construction, they always do). And to top it off, he showed up every day with a smile on his face! We will hire Forext Construction again and again for any future remodeling projects we have, and you should, too.
