Hello!
My name is Richard Taylor. I am interested in building your fence. I have been building fences for 13 years, and there are several examples of my work in my photo album associated with my profile. I was recently given an award as one of Thumbtack's best builders, for the fifth year in a row.
My prices are $32.50 per ft for premium 6 ft Cedar including labor and materials, or $29.50 for standard. (the difference is only in the grade of pickets, I use premium materials for the posts and rails). I use premium ceramic-coated deck screws for all attachments. Gates are $200.00 each for up to 44", although I include one free of charge for lengths of 200' or more. Double gates up to 10' are $400 each with premium hardware.

Richard was very punctual for our on-site estimate and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted for our fence. Our existing gate was in dire need of replacement and completely broken. We had a new front gate installed and about 6 ft of additional fence replaced. I asked for the boards to be laid horizontally and the guys who did the work made it come out beautifully! I'm so happy with the completed work, our gate and fence gave our home an aesthetic boost. Very pleased with the quoted price and also recommended family to use Denver Fence and Fountain. Nice work!

I can't say enough good about Richard and his team! I have long neglected my wood fence and some heavy winds on Sunday night finally pushed a piece down and I couldn't neglect it anymore. I got in touch with Richard on Monday. On Tuesday, he looked at the problem, provided a quote and was here to do the work on Thursday.
Richard recommended replacing the bad sections and repair of several other sections that were loose. He also fixed my gate that has never latched correctly. He says the repairs should keep my fence sturdy for another 5 - 7 years and I believe it! The work is very solid and I am confident that it will survive many wind storms to come!
In addition to the great work Richard and his team did, Richard was also on-time, worked quickly, and was overall a very nice guy. He even chopped up and hauled away a branch that fell during the storm that had nothing to do with the fence. Business owners like Richard who take pride in their work, keep their word, and go above and beyond are rare and I appreciate him so much. I will absolutely reach out to Richard the next time my fence needs a tune-up or replacement.

Richard and his crew were awesome! They were early to the job, and didn't take a break until the job was completed. The fence looks great and the gate swings very nice. This is the second time I have used Richard and I will continue to use him for future fencing needs.

Richard rescued our project after our original contractor was unable to complete the fence installation after many weeks. Richard was a first-rate professional who took a situation that, frankly, appeared beyond resolution and delivered a repaired and finished product, in the time promised, that looks terrific and provides all the privacy we had sought. We would definitely hire him again!
