- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to price by the Squ Ft if not applicable I price by the cut or possibly Leniar ft if that's not applicable I try to think of how many man hrs will be needed to complete the project in some cases I'll go by the hr.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly reading different web sites and looking for different design ideas and talk with others in my field especially seasoned veterans to obtain more knowledge and combine some of the old school and new school techniques and methods.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father has been a master carpenter and ran his own company since I can remember. He brought me in at a young age and I fell in love with the finishing aspects as in the finish carpentry and tile (real stone,ceramic) work. Reason being it is an art form in my opinion it is what makes each house stand out from the rest and can reflect the clients persona and truly make their home in perspective their own.
