FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Price depends on the piece — a nightstand’s obviously less than a full wardrobe. I quote before I start so no surprises. If you’ve got a few pieces at once I’ll work out a better rate than doing them separate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask what furniture and brand before I show up so I bring the right tools. Assemble it, check everything’s level and stable, walk the customer through it before I leave so they’re not finding issues after I’m gone.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No certificate for this, just years of hands-on work IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon, some higher-end stuff like Article and West Elm. Learned the hard way which brands skip screws in the box and which ones actually give clear instructions
