Jared was great! He came to Denver on a Wednesday evening to look at my very old garage and offered multiple choices for solutions. We promptly made a plan for a time to come back a do a full repair and replacement of everything except the door itself. He gave me a brand new door in 2 hours that works beautifully! I think the garagedoor to my town home had been there since it was built, so you can imagine it was on its last legs. The safety sensors needed realigning almost every week, and honestly, it was just time to bring things into the modern era.
I figured this would be a quick opener swap. Turns out it was more than that. The springs were completely shot and couldn't hold the door anymore, and the rollers weren't looking great either. Here's the thing though, a lot of techs show up only with what they think they'll need for the specific job you called about. Nate wasn't like that at all. He came prepared for whatever he might run into, and he was upfront with me every step of the way. No "let me run out and grab a part real quick" that you hear about with other companies.
The job ended up taking longer than either of us expected once we found the springs and rollers issues, but Nate handled it all like a pro without missing a beat and did a genuinely great job.
If the quality of work and level of service are anything to go by, this company earned its name. Solid Choice is exactly that. I couldn't recommend them more.

these guys were great. We called that morning with a small garagedoor emergency and they were in there within a few hours. Nate clearly knew his stuff, and replace our 15-year-old system with a new one. In addition to the work we requested, he performed a maintenance on our door and made a small fix on our garagedoor. He works until after dark to make sure he had a complete completed. Then conscientiously cleaned up the garage.
I always like dealing with the owners of a their own small business as opposed to the big ones. They’re always more conscientious and very responsive. Can’t recommend these guys enough for anything to do with your garagedoors.

I have done 2 years of automotive trade school and multiple garage door training programs.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was originally an auto mechanic for a ford dealership. When my values with the corporate hierarchy clashed I parted ways and found work in the Garage Door industry. Fast forward 15 years later and here I am with Solid Choice Garage Door at your service.
