I purchased my first guitar just a few weeks before deciding to find a teacher, and I was hesitant about getting started. However, Jordan made the learning process both enjoyable and approachable. In our first lesson, we started with the very basics like going over the different types of guitars and fundamental techniques, which helped me feel more comfortable.
Jordan is patient, knowledgeable, and great at breaking things down in a way that’s easy to understand. Each lesson is well-structured, and I appreciate how he tailors the sessions to my pace while still challenging me to improve. We begin each lesson by reviewing what I’ve been practicing throughout the week before diving into topics ranging from music theory and strumming patterns to chords and picking.
Since starting lessons, I’ve gained confidence in basic chords, strumming patterns, pentatonic scales, and even improvisation. Jordan is always encouraging, making learning guitar a fun and rewarding experience. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and supportive guitar teacher!

Jordan is a fantastic guitar and music teacher. I never would have imagined that I could progress as quickly as I have in a short few months. His lessons are engaging, he makes music theory easy to understand, and most importantly, he makes me want to pick up my guitar every single day.
He meets you where you are at and tailors the curriculum specifically to your goals and strengths.
I cannot recommend him enough!

I’ve had 1; piano and classical guitar teacher, comparing my thoughts from them. He’s more engaging: as in he focuses more on problem areas. His style of teaching is more of learning to play freestyle as well as learning music theory to understand some of the concepts of why it sounds good.
He’s a great teacher for getting started on electric guitar(that’s what I’m learning) but he plays more bass.

I have been playing guitar for years and could get by but wasn’t progressing. Jordan has been able to help me better understand the scales and how they relate to each other. His teaching style is comfortable and knowledgeable making it very easy to learn.
