I highly recommend Hayes Smith for handyman projects. I hired him to fix my John Deere 245 lawn tractor that wouldn't start because of safety switch malfunction. Others couldn't find the problem. He was persistent in diagnosing all possibilities and found that the PTO switch was intermittent. He ordered a new PTO and came back to replace it. He also offered to change the oil and other routine maintenance which I appreciated. He was on time for both appointments, is knowledgeable about the equipment, and was responsive to my suggestions. The cost was very reasonable for all of his effort and success. He also was pleasant and cooperative to work with. Thanks Hayes. Ric Fanyo 11/13/25

Hayes was professional and had excellent communication. The repair was completed with high quality. The repair was the drive belt on riding mower and he knew exactly what to do. I would highly recommend him for any job and will likely hire him again for other handyman tasks.
