FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in straightforward, transparent pricing with no surprises. Many smaller projects can be estimated from photos, but larger or more complex jobs may require an on-site consultation. My on-site consultation fee is $45, which covers travel, evaluating the project, discussing options, taking measurements if needed, and providing a detailed estimate. If you hire me for the project, that $40 is credited toward your final invoice—so you don't pay anything extra for the consultation. It's simply applied to the total cost of the job. Throughout the process, I'll communicate clearly, explain any recommended work, and discuss any changes before proceeding. My goal is to provide quality workmanship, honest service, and value from start to finish.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by learning exactly what you're hoping to accomplish. Photos are always helpful and often allow me to provide a preliminary estimate before I arrive. Once on site, we'll walk through the project together, answer any questions, and agree on the scope of work. Throughout the job, I communicate clearly, treat your home with respect, and clean up before I leave so you can simply enjoy the finished result.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've completed hands-on training through the Colorado Home Building Academy, where I developed practical skills in carpentry, construction safety, drywall, painting, and general home maintenance. I also operate my own home services business and have completed projects ranging from lawn care and landscape refreshes to fence repairs, painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and general handyman work. Years of leading teams and serving customers in professional environments have also taught me the importance of communication, reliability, and attention to detail.
