Rodney came out and walked through the space. He asked the right questions and even offered suggestions that I hadn’t thought of myself. He was quick to get a quote emailed over to me, and followed up to see if I had any questions. The project got put on hold unfortunately, but I will definitely reach back out to Rodney when I do decide to move forward.

Rodney came over to look at the space. He was on time and seemed very knowledgeable. Hey wrote up an estimate for the work and we agreed upon the pricing. He showed up the first day and put up the cement board and Redgard waterproofing. To this point everything seemed good. Then he didn’t show up to work because of a light snow that was falling, but he did reach out to let me know he would be picking up the supplies he needed to finish the job and he asked if I could give him some of the money so he could get what he needed. I said ok and sent him $400 for materials via PayPal. Well the paypal transfer said it would take 7 days to verify with the bank and he didn’t have the money to buy materials so I left $300 cash at my house with my girlfriend and told him he could stop by and grab that. I assumed he would be done with the project in 3 days because he told me he would be. Therefore I figured I’d just take $700 off of the original estimate. He told me he would call me after he left the supply house to let me know if he would be back that same day to work or if he would be returning the following morning. Well I never heard back from him and I have reached out multiple times with no response from Rodney. It’s been 2 weeks and he still has not reached out to me in any way. So instead of doing the work he agreed to do he has stolen $700 from me and disappeared. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY TO DO ANY WORK FOR YOU, HE IS A LIAR AND A THEIF! I will be going after him for the money he stole from me. Just don’t want to see anyone else get ripped off.
