Oh my gosh! I’ve used personal organizers before and they’ve been great, but Lahni is on an entirely different level. She hustles, crawls under things, lifts big boxes, and gets it done! She is fast and thorough. Our basement has been a clean but cluttered space for over 18 months. Lahni sorted and categorized so that we could see how much we had of any one thing so it made it easier to get rid of superfluous items. Lahni is the best personal organizer Ive ever had help me. I am normally quite capable of handling my personal affairs and keeping my house organized, but chronic health problems have robbed me of my energy, desire to keep the house organized, and ability to work efficiently and effectively. Lahni is both effective and efficient. Its also hard for me to relinquish control in my own home. However, Its like Lahni can read my mind. She organizes our belongings the same way I would have before I got sick. Lahni is also a kind and caring person. She got into the organizing business because she loves to help people and shes very good at her job. Lahni has a warm personality, making it enjoyable to work with her. Lahni came into my life when I was unable to help myself and she had a positive impact on not just my life, but my husbands and sons lives too. We are moving into a new house in April. I will be taking advantage of Lahnis services again to make the move go faster and smoother! If you need help but are afraid to bring a stranger in to help, dont worry, just hire Lahni!! Lahni is super awesome and energetic, she does an excellent job. She also somehow got my kids invested in the organization and cleanliness of their own home, which is a unique experience. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?For my primary service, Professional (Home, etc.) Organizing I charge a base price of $75 per hour, with a 4 hour or $300 minimum. This fee includes my time, labor and expertise in organizing. I am very fast and efficient, so this factors into my pricing as well. I will also take a car load (in my spacious RAV4) of donations away for you. Hauling away the donated items every time makes it much easier to work towards the goal you’ve set. On average, I am about 1/3 faster than a lot of other organizers in Denver. For example, a job that would take one organizer 6 hours will usually take me 4. If you’re paying $60/hr with the other organizer, you would pay more and use up more time. Please give me a call and I will tell you why I’m worth it! As for additional fees, I charge for one hour of driving if your home/site is more than 45 minutes from my base of operations. If you need me to buy anything, I keep all receipts and those items will be reimbursed individually. As for my additional services, house cleaning is set by an algorithm with the Thumbtack app. I still charge an additional fee for commutes longer than 45 minutes. Packing is set at $75 per hour as well and is under the same parameters as organizing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I try to tailor each job to the preference of the client. If they need a consultation, I make the time to see their space and talk to them about it before scheduling work days. Some clients prefer to just start quickly. I am always friendly, on time and happy to work with whomever is there to help.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I studied Communication Studies at Colorado State University. Taking courses in this field definitely equipped me to being able to work well with a lot of people and work well in conflict, which sometimes arises in certain organizational situations. I was a member at the Center for Public Deliberation in which I was a facilitator for people in the community to help with seemingly unsolvable problems - the training I received in this group has really helped me with certain clients when some of the people involved are wary of being “clutterless”.
