- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Recognizing that the homeowner faces a number of challenges and uncertainties when selecting a service provider, 360 Service Companies was born with the goal of simplifying and enhancing this experience while also providing a premium solution to the status quo options that currently exist. This vision and practice of providing a premium customer experience has been tried and tested for nearly 20 years by John and JJ Lane and we believe it is the only way to operate a business. In 1995, JJ Lane started a lawn mowing route as a 13 year old, with his mom driving him to his accounts and the marketing consisting of neighborhood door knocking and some flyers posted in the local shopping center. In 1998, John Lane and JJ joined forces and took the little neighborhood lawn mowing company into a full-service operation, servicing over 500 customers annually at its peak. The Company expanded from lawn mowing, adding weed control, fertilization, aeration, sprinkler services, tree care, and holiday lighting. Across the ten years that John and JJ operated the Company, they were able to develop, refine, and perfect the best practices that are now instilled at 360 Service Companies. 360 has now expanded beyond lawncare, but the underlying values that applied in that business are still applicable in the landscaping and painting industries and by building the Company around great, like-minded people, 360 is able to provide the same great quality, trust, consistency, and responsiveness that we built our very first service business upon in 1995.
