Lina was very responsive and communicative with scheduling with her for my wedding day! She set me up with an MUA/Hair Stylist on her team (Laura) and everything went better than I imagined. During the trial we talked about what worked and what didn’t and on my wedding day the makeup was PERFECT. I am so grateful to the Lina Marcela team for helping me feel extra special on my wedding day! 10/10

Lina was an absolute dream to work with. She took my inspiration photos and made them come to life - she had me looking and feeling like a princess on my wedding day! She did my hair & makeup, and completed my bridesmaids hair. All were half-dos and each girl had different textures and lengths. Everyone's hair came out great and kept all night long!

I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed working with Lina before and on our wedding day. From the moment I first met Lina, I knew she would do an excellent job. After the Hair and make up trial, I decided to go back and have her give me a new look and haircolor, which I love too. The day of our wedding, she showed up and brightened my morning with her sweet personality and did such a great job on my hair and make up. I would recommend her over and over again! And I’ve now found a new hair stylist too, which is awesome!

Lina did balayage and a trim on my 14 year old daughter, who loves the end result! I was hesitant about taking my daughter to someone new's home (as with COVID-19 I couldn't be there too), and Lina validated my feelings and made us both feel extremely comfortable about it and with her. Before starting, Lina spoke with my daughter and I, and actually listened to what we said. She is also extremely knowledgeable about hair, products, etc, and gave great upkeep instructions, advice and ideas. My daughter and I highly recommend Lina!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am Licensed Cosmetologist. I studied at Regency and have taken training courses throughout my career in salons and artists like The Parlour Denver, and Amanda Kokoeva.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My first bride was my sister before I finished high school. In doing her bridal updo, I realized that not only was beauty something I enjoyed on myself but I love to work with different clients, styles, and projects. After graduating high school I entered cosmology school, worked with brides, and dove into the styling world.
