Counseling goals
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: The strongest factor working for us in therapy is creating a good relationship with our therapist. Creating this relationship and working to understand each other more quickly improves the work we are able to accomplish in session. Because of the depth and breadth of my life experience, I am able to appreciate and understand my clients quickly, and we are able to get to work more efficiently. Emotional validation is key. When a client states something like, "exactly, that's exactly what I mean and how I feel," then I know that I have understood my client from a deep, emotional place.

Alicia has been wonderful so far. She is extremely insightful, and has impressed me nearly every session with her ability to quickly read between the lines and find the root of any given problem. She is incredibly flexible with scheduling, and never makes me feel rushed in session. I would strongly recommend Alicia Watson to anyone in need of relationship counseling and/or individual therapy.

We're super happy with Alicia's service and wouldn't change a thing. Will be recommending her to others for sure. She rocks!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My standard fee for service is $80 for a full 60-minute session, and $120 for a 90-minute session. I am also willing to work with you to make your counseling work more sustainable.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First, congratulations for seeking additional insight into yourself and seeking to improve your life. In finding my site and information, you have found a highly trained, compassionate, humorous, and supportive counselor. I hope that we can start working together soon.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I am a warm person and counselor, and also have good boundaries. I practice finding balance within therapy- neither pushing too much or waiting too long for change- and I appreciate that we are working on your goals for therapy, not the therapist's goals.
