My wife and I bought a small house in Denver and we have been working to make the small space we have a lot more enjoyable. The yard is in between the house and the garage and that makes it feel like a small space.
I had Melanie paint a mural of the maroon bells mountain range, as it was a special hike that me and my wife hiked early in our relationship.
The end product was outstanding!! Not only did it make my wife super happy, but it also transformed the small space we had and made it feel a lot bigger. And it brought the backyard to life.
Melanie’s ability to take a blank wall and turn it into what feels like the mountains is incredible! I will recommend her to everyone I can. She is an amazing artist and very professional with the whole process.

Working with Melanie is the most wonderful gift you could give yourself! I hired the services of 5280 WallArt for an academic workshop to connect students with community organizations working on migrations.
Melanie worked with us as a moderator of the workshop and facilitator of the co-creation of a mural. Our mural conveyed the experiences/perspectives of twenty-five people about migrations from Latin America to North America. On the ground, the process of co-creation was a process of sharing, understanding and negotiating the outcomes.
In our experience, students, faculty members, and community participants felt that we were meeting as equals, in an inclusive and diverse environment to work together to represent our worldviews.
As an academic let me make clear that the value of the community experience in the process of collective art production cannot be measured. I see the huge benefits of this process of art co-creation for people in academia and beyond.
