Awesome job! Will use him as our regular piano tuner.Aug 7, 2017Verified
I was never contacted by the piano tuner, even after I called him, left my number, and he never called back.Aug 5, 2016VerifiedRAGTIME Piano Service's reply
Again, this unfortunate circumstance was caused by family emergencies, and I was unable to confirm our appointment right away. When I contacted Donna three days later, she had already left this review and found someone else. I understand the need for expediency, and was a regrettable loss of business. My normal response time to any inquiry is 24 to 48 hours.
Great experience. Focused, educated me on various piano parts, definitely will use his services next year.Oct 27, 2019Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Standard tuning: $100 Pitch raise: $20 extra Additional repairs will be priced as necessary.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Scheduling a tuning is simple - you just give me a day & time that works, and I'm there. Standard tunings normally take between 1½ - 2 hours, depending on just how un-tuned your instrument is & the kind of care it has received over its life. For REALLY out-of-tune pianos, a longer and more intensive procedure called a "pitch raise" maybe necessary, which is just slightly extra. Our first appointment will include the tuning, dusting and repair assessment of your piano (if any repairs are needed), and it's always recommended that you tune your piano once a year to keep it in the best shape.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been (and am currently) a student of the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology, the highest rated & most attended school in this country of its kind. I have been tuning pianos all around the state of Colorado for over six years, and am also an associate member of the Piano Technicians Guild.
