About

I teach lessons tailored to each individual student. I have students at all levels, beginner to advanced, and ages 9 to adult. Many students have expressed that my step by step approach to tackling obstacles unique to their playing has drastically improved their skills. They have said that they see faster improvement compared to when they worked previously with other instructors. I am a performer as well. I play with several groups of various genres and have recorded on many albums. Working with me can lead to connections in the Denver music scene and to developing the skills necessary to be a gigging musician. Lessons available: Saxophone(Primary) Flute Clarinet Piano Music theory Composition Improvisation Jazz Phrasing I offer a free trial lesson. I also have an incentive program for existing students. If you bring in another student, both of you receive an additional free lesson. I am passionate about music and spend all day, everyday, doing it.

I've been playing saxophone for about 17 years, and I came to Jeff for help to take it to the next level. He met me where I'm at, and has quickly helped to fill in some holes in my knowledge in a way that has already changed things for me. Each lesson has been better and more productive than I expected. He's easygoing and fun to hang with, knows wind instruments, and is also a great person to talk to about where to go next in one's musical journey. I look forward to taking more lessons with Jeff.
