I worked with Juan during my large renovation project to design a large beam to span the are from my kitchen to living room. He was always punctual, stayed in constant contact and delivered on every aspect of the project. He even took the time to meet me at the city offices during the permit process! I will definitely turn to him for any future renovation projects.
Juan spent the time to analyze the joists and columns in the basement as well as the attic. His attention to detail and professionalism with the follow up on my project is exactly what we needed.
There’s not enough nice things to say about Juan. I needed an engineer’s report relatively quickly to satisfy city inspector requirements. Not only did Juan come out the same day, he went above and beyond in the time he spent with me and the issues he addressed. His report took into consideration my concerns, and he had the report completed the next day. Additionally, the contractor I’ve hired to put Juan’s plans into motion was impressed enough with Juan to contact him himself for future structural engineering needs.

We discovered on a Friday that we needed a structural engineer. Juan was the only one to get back to us right away. He came out the next Sunday to look at the job. He was professional, courteous and willing to listen to our needs. He’s been in continued contact with our contractor and was willing to rework the numbers when cost became a concern with the original plans. We would recommend him to anyone.

I needed a Structural Engineer on short notice for a job to remove some load bearing walls at my residence. I put in a few requests on thumbtack and and called several others. Juan got back to me very quickly and was able to come out that day to look at the project. He was a pleasure to work with and was able to get me the drawings a day earlier than promised, after my contractor bumped up the schedule for my project. Juan was very reasonably priced and even told me what my project should cost, which was nice as it was in line with what my contractor was charging for the project. I would highly recommend using Juan for any of your Engineering needs.
