Introduction: I am a high-school-certified math teacher with proven experience. I have been teaching high school math for the past 3 years and am very patient. Along with teaching, I have tutored students and had great success. I have recently taken college math courses, so my math knowledge is fresh. I am able to teach high school and some college level as well as test prep.
I am a full-time teacher, so flexible with after school hours as well as some weekends. I am also pretty available this summer. I charge $25/hour.

Kate has been working with my sons, now a junior and sophomore, since middle school in supplementing their math studies.
When we first engaged Kate for tutoring they were both struggling in their math courses and especially exam preparation. Kate worked extremely well with the boys and they enjoyed the sessions. As a result, there was an improvement of *three* letter grades!
In addition to being very knowledgeable in the material, Kate was very personable which helped my sons really (and quickly) make immediate gains in the subject matter.
Kate also helped my youngest son with college placement testing preparation. As a direct result of her help, he was able to enter college at the age of 15 without the need for remedial or introductory coursework.
Kate has been reliable, punctual, and generally awesome across the board, We highly (highly) recommend her.
