Introduction: Established in 2008. Zen Windows was founded in 1998 after deciding it was time to create a totally new way of shopping for window replacement. Homeowners tell us how much they like doing business with us and how easy we make the whole process. We are very happy with the outcome of our project (19 windows and 2 doors) the SoftLite windows look great and have made the home more comfortable in the summer heat. The installation crew absolutely rocked- they did a great job.

Needed our basement windows replaced when finishing the space. Filled out Zens very easy online form with information about dimensions and locations and was emailing with James about brand, style, and quality options the same day. I had a lot of questions and felt James helped with all the information I needed to make the best decision. Install was just as easy! Someone came out to finalize measurements, install took place a few weeks later, and the windows were in in under 3 hours.

Zen windows had very efficient and quick communication with us from the start. We searched around for quotes for a while and theirs was the best value and there were no hidden fees or changes at installation. We got 3 new windows and a patio door from Zen and we are so happy with them. Excited to use them again in the future!

Fantastic about honoring warranty! Replaced window that had developed a crack in the glass (they installed the windows 6 years ago) with zero hassle. Professional, friendly, and on time. Wish more companies were like this.

Zen was awesome. We got multiple quotes from various contractors/window companies, and we were so tired of sitting through presentations to get a price we weren't willing to pay. Friends told us about Zen windows, otherwise we wouldn't have found them - they aren't in your face and don't spend your money on salespeople or advertising. I emailed them, told them what we wanted, and we emailed back and forth tweaking things (window options, screens, etc) with upfront numbers the whole time. Their installers were quick, clean, and professional, and they've made good on their screen replacement warranty twice already. The windows are great - they've made a noticeable difference this winter, and they look beautiful and operate smoothly. They're as good as - or at least pretty close to - the windows other companies offered but for a fraction of the price. We definitely recommend giving Zen a try!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Zen Windows pricing differs for each project as all windows and doors are made custom for each homes specific project. We believe in upfront and fair pricing and not in marketing tactics such as large discounts or free windows to win our clients over.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Zen Windows is an online based replacement window and door company. What this means is that we do not come into your home with a pushy 2-4 hour sales consultation, instead we discuss your project with you over the phone and via email. We then provide you with a quote for the replacement project. If/when you choose to move forward with our company, we then have our installer come out to take exact measurements prior to your new doors and windows being made custom for your project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our installers have been installing windows for over 20 years and are experts in their craft. With our 100% lifetime and transferable warranty you can be sure that we will do the job correctly, the first time.
