- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For remodelings and additions the best way to give a quote is that clients provide me with interior and exterior pictures of their existing building. Overall square footage per floor, square footage of remodeling or addition. For new buildings design style expectations, square footage of new building, lot address and construction budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I keep my certifications valid by attending seminars, and enrolling into continuing education classes offered by the American Institute of Architects, the International Building Code Council and the United States Green Building Council.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father was a civil engineer and since I was a kid I used to love to go to the job site to see his construction work.
