Our furnace was short cycling and Jeremy came out to assess. He was on time and professional and quickly knew exactly how to fix the issue. I also learned a little bit about my Amana furnace. I’d recommend him and Top Shelf Electric!

Darrell and team were quick to answer my request for a house visit an estimate. Our project focus changed a bit, and Top Shelf was flexible with our desires. Darrell showed up on time, and completed the job quickly. He was meticulous with the clean-up, and left things better than when he showed up. We are very happy with the work he performed.

Jeremi was very punctual on his arrival and did a thorough job investigating the issues of my heating system. Even though it did not fix the problem entirely, he was able to give me information to go back to my installer of my furnace and request for them to install properly. Thanks for taking the time to come out and help Jeremi. I would definitely call Top Shelf in the future if I was in need of hvac assistance.

Their sevice call is NOT free. They showed up and as soon as they walked in they notified me that they charge $425 to do diagnostic testing aka find out what the problem is and that charge may or may not include repairs. I'm sorry but i'm not paying for a service before I know if it's something they can even fix. I would recommend the company consider charging a service fee instead of insane diagnostic fees. I understand that they need to get paid which is why a service fee makes more sense. The electrician was in my house for under 5 minutes before telling me it would be $425 to do diagnostics. In all fairness I do appreciate that they showed up so quickly but I can’t throw out $425 without even an idea of the cost of repairs in additional to that. The other companies I have called include “diagnostics” in their $50-$100 service fee which seems more reasonable because then you have an idea of cost of repairs instead of just giving money and not knowing if repairs will be “included” in the $425 or not. I got the feeling that the company is charging $425 for a consult and I’m wondering if they often charge addition fee’s for service on top of that which made me very uneasy about what my money was paying for.
