Introduction
I have practiced yoga for over 10 years because I love how it makes me feel. I love how it helps me focus, learn, and relax. My main focus in teaching is helping a student cultivate their ability to listen to their own body in each moment to guide their whole being towards emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual growth. I completed RYT200 yoga teacher training in June 2017 and I completed RYT500 training in April 2020. I love working with people of all ages and body types -- beginners to advanced yogis alike!

I have played piano for over 26 years. I've been teaching beginner piano students (aged 5-12 and adults) for over 12 years. We can start at the beginning and move into classical, pop, folk, or whatever may interest the student from there. Personally, I enjoy playing Chinese traditional and improvised pentatonic music on the piano.

Nina is a wonderful yoga instructor! She caters to all levels by providing pose adaptations/options, so both beginners and seasoned yogis will enjoy her classes. Her voice is very soothing and her instructions are clear. She's also such a sweet person! I've been to a few of her sessions and will definitely be back!

I’ve been going to yoga classes since I was a kid in India and after I moved to the US I’ve found it hard to like the yoga classes here. I have to say that out of all the teachers in the US that I’ve attended classes with, Nina seems to be the most attuned to it!! She understands which poses should precede or come after which ones for the best flow and experience and she adds all these alternatives so that people of every level can follow. She is able to understand the needs of her pupils in her class and give them a custom experience instead of a predetermined set. Also I found her use of language and demonstrations very easy to follow. She is very personable, warm and a joy to be around. All in all, she is an A+ yoga instructor, the likes of which are very rare!
