- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A portrait featuring one subject's head and chest with no background is $5. Delivery time 1-3 days Each additional subject - $5 and 2 additional days. Background - $5 and 2 additional days. Fantasy elements - $5 per subject and 2 additional days. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
You contact me with clear, high-resolution, unobstructed photos of your subject(s) and the answers to 9 questions: 1. How many subjects will be in the portrait? ($5/subject) 2. Black and white or color? 3. Should the finished project look a realistic pencil sketch or a realistic painting? 4. Do you want a background in the picture and if so what would you like it to be? (backgrounds are an additional $5) 5.Do you want any additions like hats, clothes, props or other fantasy elements included in the picture and if so what would you them to be? ($5/subject that has an additional element(s). 6. What size would you like the finished project to be? 7. Anything else I need to know about the project. 8. How to get in touch with you should I have any questions. 9. If I have permission to use the finizhed product as an example of my work in my portfolio. This is completely up to you. If you give me permission to do this I will give you 20% off! I will then look over the material and request 50% of the total price to be paid. I will give you a delivery estimate (approximately 2 days per $5) and get to work. I may send you drafts and/or questions along the way so please keep checking for messages from me while I work. Finally, I will send you the final version and you can tell me if it meets your expectations. If not we will work together until you are happy! When you're satisfied with the product I will request the other 50% of the price to be paid and you will have your unique, custom portrait in digital file form.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Are they going to go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with the product? Art is subjective - what looks good to one person won't necessarily look good to another. We are going to work together to make sure you are happy.
