- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am charge $65 an hour, however I will reduce the price if a client buys a 4 or 6 training card. I also am starting to provide group classes that you can ask more about how to enroll when you contact me. I do NOT have a traveling fee for clients in Northern Colorado.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I talk to the client on the phone to find out what their needs are. We will discuss their goals and specific needs for training their dog. Then we will set up a private session or enroll you /your dog in a class.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a certification as a Master Dog Trainer from the Colorado Career Academy in Aurora CO. In addition, I have a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources with an emphasis in Training. I have extensive experience in training both dogs and humans. This provides a unique advantage in my ability to work with the humans to teach the how to train their dog and to demonstrate the techniques by working with the dog. I am in the process of being approved for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors (NADOI). I also work directly with Service Dog Traniners by attending a yearly conferences.
