Our experience with Daniel and his crew was excellent we hired them to relocate our front door and put a window where the door existed. So happy with finished product would definitely call on them again with any new projects
Drywalled bathroom above shower and textured. Completed and done on time. Also fixed front door to shut correctly.
Great price to refinish our deck. Great job and very professional
I would give Michael from Trailside Handyman 5 stars. I was given his name from Home Depot when I asked if they had a list of Handymen in the area. He was very respective of my home. He had to make a few extra trips to home depot. I asked him to work on TV hidden wires and mount install, install sliding mirror doors, install wood panel doors, molding around whole first level, replace kitchen faucet and other misc items like caulking and back fence latch. His work was done on schedule and in budget. I have a few other items for him to work in the future including replacing the banister. I would recommend his work to anyone. I am very pleased with how all the items turned out. He is very professional.
Owen and Brandon built redwood railing for the front and back porch, painted it to match the trim, poured a short concrete path from the back porch to the lawn and built stairs from the concrete to the back porch. They made a good first impression when, unable to make the appointment on time, called ahead of time and rescheduled it for later in the day! I like professionals that respect my time as well. The project was completed in four days and looks great! I would hire them again and refer them to friends. The carpenters are positive and easy to work with!
Excellent listener and could easily identify my deck and furniture needs.
Rory did a great job fixing our garage door. I'll definitely hire him again.
I am thrilled to report that the services we received have been EXCELLENT. We had internal drywall repair (including ceilings) and painting that had to be matched and it looks great! They installed our new front door with sidelight AND back sliding doors (that neither originally fit) and they now look and perform beautifully! They cleaned, repaired and painted the entire exterior of our home and it looks brand new! I could not be happier with their work or work ethic. They were timely and efficient. I am now using their services at work and have them scheduled to do repairs for family members. It is so refreshing to feel confident and be able to trust your contractors - these guys ROCK!
I called in Richard to replace a garbage disposal which he did quickly and at a reasonable price. While he was under the sink, he also found a leak which he fixed, then he fixed my front door on the way out (it was rubbing). Both were quick fixes he did free of charge. Richard is fast, honest and does good work. If I have any other handyman needs, you can bet he'll be the first person I call.
John does great work. We've used him for two projects - restoring our large front door and converting an unfinished room (utting in the framing, drywall, flooring, extra vents and power outlets). Highly recommend him.
Don did an excellent job on replacing the door frame that my dog had scratched. He was professional and honest and I would hire him again and would be happy to refer him to others. PR
Kitchen remodel: Paint, flooring, counter tops. They were so dependable start to finish!
Uncle Brian’s Home Improvement in Thornton, Colorado has twice done renovation work in our home. Most recently, he’s completed remodeling an upstairs hall bathroom and a bedroom vanity’/sink. Two years ago he completely redesigned and rebuilt our kitchen by changing the layout of our cabinets, by moving a wall that needlessly hid empty space, and by opening the passage to our dining room. The two of us can now prepare dinner together, because we have space to move and counters to prepare meals. Brian went above and beyond what was expected by gently guiding us toward more contemporary styles yet still allowing for our somewhat old-fashioned tastes. With each and every kitchen and bathroom redo, he has jointly created home spaces unique for each customer. We know this because he invited us to see other homes, in which he has worked. We in turn enjoyed showing off our home. While his estimate was not the cheapest; his higher quality materials and workmanship compared well with more expensive contractors, yet was far from being the most costly. His rates were reasonable. Before Brian, we had company “x” do some work for us, but they gave us few choices and refused to adapt to our tastes or even allow us any changes with their “package deal.” Brian, on the other hand, collaborated with us to achieve our goals. First, he took us shopping to learn our tastes allowing for our budget. Whether working on our complete kitchen or overhauling our small bathrooms, he attended to details, such as insulating our bathroom floor and walls keeping my tub water warm longer and putting a plastic cover over my basement light switch, so we need not run up & down trying to figure out how to turn on the light! Also, he filled in the holes his electrician made in the wall and retextured them, too. He custom built matching bathroom mirrored medicine chests, too. More importantly, he found us bargains, whenever he could. Jen, Brian’s go getter, got us a European style adjustable height shower unit at reduced cost—perfect for our home. She also got us a good deal on an over-the-toilet cabinet to match our new comfort height counters. Brian recommended many inexpensive tile choices from which to choose. When we requested cross-reeded glass for our upper kitchen cabinets, he marvelously matched the square pattern with a glass backsplash that looked made-to-match, pleasing us greatly. Oh, he installed a new front entrance for us, too. Our new Feather River door was reasonably priced saving us money over other brands and giving us natural light in our entranceway. Everything looks great. With our kitchen and bathroom projects concluded, we are already on his waiting list to repair our front porch and perhaps replace our back door. Brian and his assistants, Aaron, Jeremiah, Dave and Jen were polite and attentive to our needs. Each day the men cleaned up their mess—a biggy. Our home now has one, complete and pleasing overall unity. We are repeat customers of Uncle Brian’s and heartily recommend his remodeling business to all Angie’s List subscribers in the North Metro Denver area! P.S. The side of his truck reads, “…like having an uncle in the business”—it’s true! Happy Holidays, Jen
As new home owners with many projects, James handled them all with skill, competence, and professionalism. He is knowledgeable about carpentry and woodwork, painting, plumbing, and electrical. He has renovated our bathroom, hung doors, stained glass, mirrors, and pictures throughout the house. He has also painted several rooms for us. He is capable of all types of jobs, cleans up well afterward, and is a very nice guy to work with. We highly recommend James Kubiak for any, and all of your home service projects.
Installing a doggy door. In a door. He confirmed by email, called when he was on his way, showed up on time. When he arrived he was prepared with all his tools and supplies. He took the time to read the directions, followed the directions and did a great job. He made sure it was a 'll cleaned up to my satisfaction.
Fixed what needed to be done with the front door locks
Being recently divorced, my house required alot of maintenance. Eric put in a new faucet for my kitchen sink, replaced the toliet flushing mechanism, and put security doors on the front and back. I have been very pleased with the work that he has done to help me out. It has been a great relief to me to be able to count on him. He is always prompt and never flakes out on me. Furthermore, Eric will go that extra mile to ensure that he will be able to fix whatever needs to be done.(e.g. like my toliet) lynn in broomfield
We bought a 1970 brick ranch complete with all of the very tired original fixings (see the kitchen before pics from the original listing) and Dave updated nearly the entire house! The kitchen is amazing with new configuration. He added a pass through to open up the kitchen to the living area. New windows, new sliding glass door, new doors, new molding and paint throughout the house. New front and back doors. Next will be our bathroom! We highly recommend Dave: a great listener, smart, organized, reliable, creative, and honest!
Adam's done a great job on several different projects at a couple homes I own... including big jobs such as a major excavation and prep work for three new stone patios with a gas fire pit, deck expansion and driveway extension. Fence repair and extension. Full deck refinishing including reinforcing, sanding, and staining. He's now getting ready to construct a 150' concrete walkway from the front yard to the back alleyway. He always takes his time to be sure he gets everything completed just right... which is rare these days! He's also friendly and timely!
I needed a new deadlock installed on my front door.
