- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe pricing should be clear, detailed, and transparent from the beginning. Every project is different, so pricing will vary based on the size and scope of the work, material selections, and specific jobsite conditions. After meeting with you and evaluating the project in person, we can typically provide a detailed proposal along with preliminary drawings within 48 hours. We also believe you should know exactly what you're paying for. Our proposals provide separate labor and material calculations, along with a detailed material list and the supplier(s) being used. We do not mark up materials or delivery costs—our goal is to make our money by providing quality craftsmanship, not by hiding profit in material pricing. As a thank-you for their continued trust, existing and previous Alpine West customers, as well as customers referred to us by them, receive 20% off labor. We also do not charge for preliminary drawings or for filing building permits, helping you understand the project and its costs before construction begins.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is designed to be straightforward, transparent, and low-pressure from the very beginning. We typically start with a brief phone conversation to learn about your project, understand what you're hoping to accomplish, and make sure the project is a good fit for both you and Alpine West. From there, we'll schedule an on-site walkthrough where we can see the space firsthand, discuss your ideas in greater detail, take measurements, and photograph anything necessary for planning the project. Within 48 hours of the walkthrough, you'll typically receive a detailed proposal with separate material and labor costs, as well as a preliminary drawing when applicable. From there, the decision is yours. We give you time to review everything and are available to answer questions, discuss changes, or address any concerns—without high-pressure sales tactics or repeated follow-ups. If you decide Alpine West is the right fit, we'll coordinate material ordering, pickup and delivery, establish the project schedule, and confirm the first day of construction. Then we get to work bringing your project to life.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are licensed, insured and have completed the IBC (International Code Council) educational requirements for any residential work up to 3 stories, in most counties and municipalities along the front range. This includes new builds, ADUs, framing, concrete, slab and/or crawlspace, decking & fencing, full-scale remodels for both interior and exterior, siding & gutters, roof repair, windows, kitchens, bathrooms and basements.
