My name is Jake, I live in northern CO with my wife and three kids on a small hobby farm and I am the owner/operator of Colorado Handiworks. I enjoy doing all the home and property projects. I am a seasoned handyman with an extensive background spanning over 25 years in the traditional areas of handyman services which include but are not limited to: - light fixture replacement and outlet repair, - faucet repair and minor plumbing projects, - drywall repair and patching, - furniture repair, - door, walls, trim, repair, etc., - TV, pictures, shelf hanging, - deck, porch, and patio maintenance and repair, - fence and gate maintenance and repair, - play equipment assembly. Beyond my traditional handyman skills and services, I also have over a decade of experience in: - general carpentry work, - custom furniture design and build out, - metal fabrication and welding, - woodworking, - small engine repair, - farm/agricultural fabrication and problem solving. My experience with Jake was fantastic. I had a dilemma with out to hang some new signage for my office. I had a rough idea of what I needed and Jake was able to bring it to life. The custom frames he made were perfect! He was super communicative. He also suggested different details to take the project to the next level. He definitely cares about the quality of his work. I will happily work with him again.

I needed a cage built for my mobile sauna, I tried doing it myself, but it was wobbly, offered 0 support, and honestly looked horrible. I was on the fence about still trying to make what I had work, but when Jake said he could make it look like it came with the sauna, I was sold. I've worked with a decent amount of handyman and wood workers, but Jake blows the competition out of the water. 1. He carefully listened and instantly picked up on small details and thought of things I hadn't. 2. He was responsive, and dropping it off at his shop was a breeze. 3. He over delivered! Not only did cage look like it came with the sauna. His attention to detail was impressive. I mean, look at that arch and the gap spacing, so heat is still distributed evenly! He even welded a piece of medal to keep the stove in place while driving, and he even touched up the outside of a sauna that I had briefly mentioned when I dropped it off. 10/10 for experience, quality of work, and turnaround time. I'll def be back! Thanks, Jake!

Colorado Handiworks charges an hourly rate for all work Minimum 1 hour Hours are rounded up to the nearest 1/4 hour. Additional Fees Materials - TBD based on project and needs of Customer Trip Charge (if applicable) ($15-$50/Trip) - To pick up materials. Disposal Fee (if applicable) ($25-$50/Project) Free over the phone estimates There is a $50 fee if an in home estimate is required. The fee will be waived if the project is booked.
