My name is Alex! Im 31 and have lived in Noco my entire life. I have always been interested in building things and working with my hands. Ive pushed myself to learn many different things in the repair and renovation field. Ive been called a Jack of all Trades by family and friends. I have just under 10 years experience in the Cabinet industry. I am also experienced in many renovation services (light/fan installation, simple plumbing and sink installation, interior painting, finish carpentry, tile work, drywall repair, etc). I restore furniture with my girlfriend and have a lot of experience with fiinishes, repair methods, wood species, and high-end furniture knowledge. I truly care about the work that I do and I will do my best with communication to make sure I achieve the level of work you are looking for. My highest praise to Ironwood Designs! It’s not every day you find a contractor who goes so far above and beyond expectations. Alex initially answered my call for a holiday light hanger, but once he arrived, I was blown away by his skills in wood furniture repair and woodworking. He’s now rebuilt our staircase and refinished our interior doors. Plus, he’s done a bunch of repairs to our wood furniture and is is in the middle of painting our rooms. It’s rare to find someone with both general handyman skills and woodworking expertise. He’s very patient, takes the time to listen, and is thoughtful and creative when making suggestions. I even asked him to do a couple of tasks (both Pinterest hacks) he hadn’t done before, and it turned out beautifully. I now have several other tasks lined up for Ironwood Designs.
