I waited to write this review giving Landon time to respond and file a claim for fixing my furniture it has been over 6 months with no response. The day of our move was a little unorganized to say the least. There were movers leaving and others showing up. We asked that they not touch one bedroom set that we were leaving for friends I caught 3 movers trying to move the nightstand and I guess I never caught the fourth because it ended up in the moving truck. I also closed the bedroom door and told them not to touch anything in the room. The one piece of furniture I cared about the most was the most damaged it was scratched completely around all sides with gauges and also every corner has a mark. (see photos) It is interesting that when I hired Armada there was one or two negative reviews that I ignored that have now disappeared. All Armada had to do was pack a trailer for me for moving out of state. Boxes were packed more than 10 high with fragile boxes on the bottom. I wasn't going to bother writing this but the professionals movers I had who moved me to Colorado (with no damaged items) and unpacked my trailer told me how poor it was packed and the person who packed it didn't know how to pack a truck. I was told what moving supplies were needed I had everything ready including mattress bags and plastic wrap none of it was used. One of my mattresses was black on the bottom. To add insult to injury all my supplies were also taking so I couldn't finish my packing the next day without buying more. Landon did try and stop by to retrieve a nightstand from the center of truck but we decided to mail it when we arrived of which he also said he would pay for. But have had no response.Response to owner:Yes, I completely understand workers are finished with their shift my point was maybe those coming on could have been updated on what is moved and not moved.Yes, you did offer to unpack the truck but since we were told it would take 3-4 hours and it took 8-10 we unfortunately didnt have time for that the next day.I bought the boxes recommended for the move. I have moved about 10 times in My life and have never had this many damaged boxes. Probably not the smartest to stack boxes floor to ceiling with fragile boxes on bottom. This picture diagram is shown on all UHAUL trucks.I purchased everything that was RECOMMENDED BY YOU. When more was needed I went to lowes and uhaul during the move to purchase and rent more. They were all professional grade blankets, I still have them and can send pictures. I do regret not taking the photos while the boxes were on the truck because it certainly would have been more dramatic and the professional movers did show me this so they were not liable. But I thought you were newer and it was a difficult move and some things being damaged is understandable. The only thing I will say again is the damage to our one set of furniture that I asked be taking care of.I used the same email address that I used to book you for the move. I called three times with voicemails before I began to email you. I have saved everything and can resend with time stamps.Again, everyone is busy and after each phone call and email I gave time for response and realized you were not going to address anything and felt you could use this negative review for a learning opportunity so someone didnt have the same issue.You were prompt, courteous, and professional when booking and your workers worked very hard that day, you did address the nightstand issue right away with a solution that was not viable and had talked of a different solution when we reached our destination. But never responded to my voicemail or email.I understand things happen with moves when you are a newer company that is why I didnt address the crushed fragile boxes with broken china etc. or the bags not used to cover my sofa or mattresses (since these things can be cleaned) I felt it was not out of line to ask for repair of my office furniture with a claim that I was informed insurance covers.

Michele, We are sorry to hear about your issues. I will try and address your problems below: -Your move began in the middle of the day, and we did have a shift change during your move as our movers had been working for 8 hours at that point. To offset this, we provided an additional mover (myself) for most of the move free of charge. -We did also offer to fully unpack and repack the truck free of charge to retrieve your nightstand. -In our 5 years of operation this is our first negative review. We cannot remove Google reviews or otherwise. -We did not pack any belongings into boxes, nor did we provide boxes. Boxes held in storage for several months should be professional grade (Not Uhaul), and fragile boxes should be heavy-duty and professionally packed (Not over-weighted as boxes tend to be when packed by the customer, which is the leading cause of “box crumbling”). Cutting corners on supplies by opting for the cheaper version is not our responsibility. -The client was required to provide adequate protection for the move, and did not provide nearly enough moving blankets, nor professional grade blankets for the move. As you can imagine, this makes it difficult to “pack the truck well.” Further, all items in the move were handled by another moving company and put inside the home prior to any pictures being taken to display damages. This is NOT standard moving procedure, as any damages need to be recorded on the truck BEFORE being handled by others. This is standard operating procedure, as it shifts the responsibility onto the unloaders after that point. I am concerned that your professional movers did not advise you on this. -We also received only one e-mail (which ended up in our spam folder) regarding this matter on 12/1/18, which was well outside of our 90-day damage claim window by approximately 45 additional days. It is also the ONLY correspondence we have received until this review. For reference, this move occurred 7/14/18, nearly one year ago. -In summation, we are sorry that your items did not arrive in the condition you were hoping for. We did our best with the supplies and protection we were provided and offered solutions/remedies to the issues we were responsible for once they arose.

We evaluate and fully understand your needs as a customer. We then make recommendations on how to best complete the job in a timely and efficient manner. Sometimes this process requires in-home evaluations or pictures to get an accurate feel for the job. After you, the customer, give us confirmation, we then create your free reservation. Come the day of the move, we call you to let you know we are leaving our office, and then fulfill the job as requested and leave once everything has been completed to your liking!
