- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Free inspections for storm damage. Storm damage estimates are prepared by insurance company and we make sure they did it correctly. Home Improvement will receive an estimate prior to work being started. Service is parts plus labor at $85.00/man hour. Minimum 2 hours and billed in 15 minute increments
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Storm Restoration process is as follows: 1. Inspect property for storm damage and document findings. 2. Present inspection report to customer. 3. If damage, help customer call in claim to insurance company. 4. Meet adjuster and hopefully agree on damage. 5. Supplement insurance paperwork with items like code requirements, permit cost, etc. 6. Meet with customer with final insurance adjustment and determine work to be done, any upgrades and total out of pocket cost to customer. Pick up deposit. 7. Complete construction. 8. Walk through with customer to ensure total satisfaction and collect final payment. 9. Provide paid invoices, warranty paperwork and maintenance program paperwork. 10. Ongoing communication and service including annual inspections for maintenance program. Home Improvement process is as follows: 1. Meet with customer to determine project requirements. 2. Meet and discuss estimate. 3. Complete contract to protect customer and company. 4. Collect deposit. 5. Complete construction. 6. Walkthough with customer to ensure total satisfaction and collect final payment. 7. Provide paid invoices and warranty paperwork. 8. Ongoing communication and service.
