- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices start at $100 and are based on the complexity of the return.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have a links I can email to a client to use to upload documents and to fill out a Client Information Form. I ask questions to determine what credits they may be eligible for. When the returns are done I have them sign a form authorizing me to file the returns electronically. I review the return with them and answer any questions they have before submitting them. I provide a copy of each return for their records. I provide an invoice for my fees and accept several payment methods.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing individual tax returns for family and friends for many years and recently retired from the IRS. I am trained on many areas of tax law and am aware of processing procedures. I keep updated on changes in the tax laws in order to prepare accurate returns.
