Introduction: I have a background in a variety of musical styles ranging from Classical Rep to Traditional Irish to Musical Theatre and Jazz which allows me to approach music from a very open minded place. I teach using both classical and non-classical techniques, and seek to help my students apply these techniques to whatever style of music they seek to sing. I have had several students audition and be chosen to participate in the Colorado All State Choir and various performing arts schools. I love helping my students "find their voice." And that doesn't just mean their physical singing voice, because as you begin to explore your physical voice you also start to discover more deeply and confidently who you are and what you are capable of. That moment when my students make breakthroughs and suddenly can do something musically or vocally they never thought possible is one of the most incredible things to be part of.
