Chris stays fresh adding new certifications to his resume, going to seminars and learning from leading fitness professionals to stay on top of the ever changing world of fitness and nutrition. I enjoy the process and teaching people how to make small positive changes in their life to help them achieve what they thought wasn't possible. Seeing the changes that occur physically are great but I get more excited when you can see someone regain their confidence and grow into a much stronger person.

I've been training with Chris for 2 years now. Before working with Chris I was working out (inefficiently) daily I had several injuries due to improper form that wouldn't heal. As soon as I began working with Chris he assessed that I was doing too much cardio and didn't have an effective strength program in place. Within 6 months my body fat % dropped to the level of an athlete and my nagging injuries were no longer an issue. Chris took the time to understand my needs, take into account the few nutrition quirks I didn't want to give up (cookies and wine) and built a program that delivered amazing results. I continue to work with Chris to stay inspired and stay healthy. He is an excellent trainer and adds the personal touch of "caring" about the individual.

Chris is a very engaged, responsive trainer, and has always been motivational and informative to me in making sure we meet my goals, all while keeping workouts challenging yet functional. I've found Chris easy to work with, flexible and adaptable to my schedule, and willing to focus on the aspects of fitness that are important to me, as well as directing me towards a good balance of those aspects for my individual needs. It has been a pleasure to rely on Chris' expertise and responsiveness to get where I've wanted to be over the past 18 months. I am pleased with the results and eager to maintain and build on those strategies through the positivity, encouragement and high-level training that Chris provides.

I started with Chris in January 2016. In March, little did Chris know, he was going to have his work cut out for him as I definitely added some challenges to our workouts. Chris is a very kind and caring person. His passion and knowledge for health and fitness are inspiring. I can't imagine going through my hurdles without Chris pushing and supporting me during each workout. Chris watches every squat, every lunge, every shoulder press, every crunch, etc. to make sure I am working the correct muscles and my form is perfect to avoid injury. Before every workout, he asks how I’m feeling and how’s my eating. Chris has also helped me with nutrition and workouts outside the gym, making changes in diet where we see necessary. His patience and positive attitude have kept me motivated and wanting more out of my workouts. Working out with Chris has been amazing, rewarding and above all a life changer. Thank you Chris.

I started working with Chris at Empowered Performance Strength and Conditioning after I had started my weight loss journey but had not yet met my goals. He provided me with guidance for my workouts as well as pushing me to be accountable during our sessions and when not in our sessions. He reviewed and improved my diet to help with additional fat loss. He managed around my nagging muscle pains - from elbows and shoulders to hip flexors. Chris has helped me get to a weight I haven't seen in decades but even better I am stronger and healthier than I have been in years. Whether you are just getting started or are looking to tweak your goals Chris is a very knowledgeable trainer that works with you.
