I take headshots that sell you. When you need headshots for acting, modeling, or for your corporate connections, the entire goal is that people look at you and want to work with you. I know how to do that. I love teaching my clients how to create amazing images. Many people come in nervous and uncomfortable because they have never had a good photograph. However, this is an issue of knowledge, not beauty. I give them that knowledge.

An updated headshot was needed by me for business purposes. I chose John because 1. makeup was included; 2. his professional website; 3. the positive reviews on thumbtack. Angie did my makeup and did a great job. I was very pleased. John explained everything as we went along, showing me pictures of models and how just a small squint of the eyes makes a difference in attitude and perception. How to turn my head and drop a shoulder to keep the folds in the neck from forming. He used different backgrounds for different effects. I was there at their home 2.5 hours. It was a lot of fun. The only thing I would change is to have information beforehand on what to bring (change of outfits, etc). I wasn't sure if they would do my hair as well as makeup. But I took 2 professional suit jackets and that worked out great.

FAQs

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I look for opportunities to train under nationally renowned photographers either as they visit Colorado or I will travel to them. For the last year and a half, I have been studying under Peter Hurley, attending his class in L.A. then seeking continued mentoring through online opportunities.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Headshots are my specialty, whether for corporate clients, actors, or models.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
