Lena and her team gave us great design ideas for our partial home remodel. We are very happy with the wood floors, the colors and the layout changes that we made to open up our living area! They had excellent contractors for the kitchen work, the floors, the paint, and it all turned out fantastic.

Lena visited the older/new home to us as we were remodeling. I could see the wheels start turning as she walked through the foyer into the great room part of the house. She provided sound design advice for painting, reusing cabinets removed from a couple rooms, removing a pony/cookbook shelving wall, and new window treatment ideas to maintain privacy and let the light in. Her notes, which she emailed following the visit, contained additional thoughts. Lena was very pleasant and easy to talk with!

Lena was extremely responsive and easy to work with. She is a true professional at interior design and was able come to our home and immediately grasped what we wanted to do and had lots of ideas. She is able to work with a wide range of budgets. The process is like being on one of the home remodel shows, you come home and it is all done. POOF! Highly recommend working with Lena and D2D.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer flat Design Services fees for a specific scope of work. The Design Fee is figured after an initial consultation where we analyze the work necessary to complete the project to our high standards.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We visit the prospective client for a complimentary initial consultation to collect information about the scope of work, see the spaces, talk about goals, etc. Then we provide a Design Services Agreement that includes a flat fee and payment schedule for the scope of work proposed. Once we've received a signed Agreement and retainer, we start with our programming phase, which includes Style Assessments, interviews, questionairres, etc. Then we start designing!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Lena G. Samuelson graduated from the Art Institute of Colorado in 2006 with a BA in Interior Design. She also studied abroad in London, at the American Intercontinental University. She passed the NCIDQ exam in 2008. Jordan Almquist graduated from the Art Institute of Colorado in 2013 with a BA in Interior Design.
