I have had the pleasure of serving with Willie on the board of the International Live Events Association, of being her assistant on a week-long corporate retreat, and of providing weekend coordination for a wedding she had planned. In each of these experiences, Willie's creative attention to detail, energetic enthusiasm, and thoughtful personal interactions were remarkable. She has an ability to bring fresh ideas to each event that she plans, from the intimate or casual gathering to the sophisticated soiree to the more complex retreat with layers of detail and logistics. Willie was the absolute best wedding coordinator ever! We initially only wanted a "day of" coordinator but because we lived outside of Denver we opted to use her extensively for our planning. She was instrumental in finding the best vendors at the best prices as well as in helping us with meal planning, schedule, venue set-up, transportation, hotel accommodations for guests, etc. She is extremely detail-oriented and that is exactly what you need in a wedding coordinator! She really got to know us as a couple and was able to grasp our style and preferences by doing so. I really can't say enough great things about Willie! We were lucky to have her help us plan for our special day. It went off without a hitch!!

It was such a JOY to work with you for your beautiful wedding at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science in Denver. You were easy going, fun, and had a vision. Your choice of color palette for your classic mid-century modern wedding to include orange, light blue, teal, avocado green, and mustard yellow is what put the final touches on this love story. The decor came together beautifully hanging paper lanterns from the ceiling, flowers to coordinate on the tables, and linen runners for the final touch. Getting married on Sky Terrace overlooking City Park in Denver, Colorado will be memories you will always cherish. Thank you for letting me be part of this small piece of your life.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experiences with Willie Ripple Events. Willie and her outstanding team have assisted us with planning several parties and each of them have been incredible. Coincidentally, two of the events had to have last minute changes due to unexpected/unusual seasonal weather and Willie was able to pull off small miracles and make it seem like there was no change in plan at all!The team is able to work with you to figure out where are the areas of your event where you want to focus attention and make those pieces extra special; however, this is not done at the expense of other aspects of the party that may not have as big of a budget. Every detail is executed beautifully! Our guests have noticed the attention to detail Willie Ripple Events takes and often comment that the party is 'one of the best ever'! Willie and the team are also working to make the event special to the last minute- helping to clean up, assist with gifts, find guests, etc. All of those small things that can come up and feel a little overwhelming for an event host - Willie makes sure to get done so that you can relax and enjoy the wonderful event you've organized. Willie Ripple is a talented planner. I've worked with her on several events and she has a great attention to detail in her planning. Her events often get comments from the guests on how well things are planned and the creativity she shows in designing the event. She is also a fun person and loves to do theme events such as 1950's birthday parties or themed corporate events.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have different ways I charge. Most clients like my "pay by the hour", because it's very cost-effective for them, to pay for only what I do. For corporate events, I can create a “one price quote” for you if you prefer. I always need to talk to the potential client first to determine a price. I also have a very cool one hour and 15 min coaching phone call program. I will teach you the secrets of event-planning, so you can move forward planning your event this time, next time, and the time after that too.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with a short discussion on the phone with my prospective clients to see if we are a good fit, then we meet in person which allows us to get to know each other better and at this time I can show you samples of my work if you wish to see more. Some clients are ready to start working with me after looking at my website and reading reviews on google and this meeting may turn into a “sign the contract and put down a deposit” meeting. I’ll answer any questions you have at this meeting, review the contract, and discuss how I work. This first meeting is complimentary, and one hour.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I, Wilhelminia Ripple, CSEP (Certified Special Events Professional), known by all as Willie, is the President and Creative Director of Willie Ripple Events. As one of only seven in my industry in Colorado who have attained the designation of CSEP, and the only CSEP in Denver with their own award-winning event-planning company, I have earned the reputation as an innovative and masterful event planner. With decades of experience, you will find that I have perfected the ability to not only create parties and weddings delicately tailored to suit the individual tastes and needs of my clients, but I have cultivated experiences worthy of life’s meaningful moments.
