The process begins with an initial meeting conducted via phone or Zoom. In this 15-30 minute session, we will assess your specific needs and timelines. This initial consultation is essential to gain a comprehensive understanding of your situation. During our discussion, we will cover your goals, the type of assistance required, your current job search or grant-seeking stage, target opportunities, and the timelines you have in mind.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been in IT recruitment and have been a hiring decision-maker in higher education, non-profit, health care, and government for more than 15 years. I’ve seen hundreds of resumes, conducted countless interviews as a hiring manager, and coached many people through the application and hiring process. I can provide insight as to what hiring managers and recruitment personnel are really looking for in a resume and candidate. With over 20 years of professional writing and editing experience, including 15 years in grant writing, I specialize in the full grant life cycle. If you have a specific grant opportunity in mind I can help! I've collaborated with both funders and recipient organizations, particularly 501(c)(3) non-profits, schools, municipalities, faith-based and community groups.
