- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am just about ready to graduate from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a bachelor's degree in Technical Communications with an emphasis in Interactive Media. The majority of classes I've taken over the last four years are oriented towards web design, web development, and interactive media so I have very current up-to-date information on board.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out going to school for print-oriented graphic design, but eventually began leaning more towards web-based work. I'm glad I saw the writing on the wall as the internet is truly the wave of the future.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There should be a unique plan and strategy behind each website. Everyone wants to get in there and start designing - after all that's the fun part! But there is so much more to a website than the design alone. My education has given me the knowledge to know what needs to be done to create a unique website to fit your needs.
