Carol was a fantastic instructor. She was extremely patient and knowledgable. She had some great ideas as we brainstormed together. She was very helpful in my struggles with sewing zippers and pillowcases. Though I've been sewing for more than thirty years, she helped me get over some obstacles. She also taught me some tricks with my sewing machine. I highly recommend her for any sewing instruction or sewing project. Thank you Carol and thumbtack for finding her!!!!

Carmen altered our wedding dresses and has been so fun to work with! She has done an awesome job, even though one of our dresses was nearly 4 sizes too big! She is very friendly and helpful, making great suggestions for the alterations. She made our dresses look great! I would HIGHLY recommend Carmen. Her prices are very fair and her work is top notch! Thank you!!

Janet is an excellent teacher. Her studio is comfortable and safe feeling (even for someone like me who was just a stranger from the internet). Janet obviously knows the craft of sewing well, and has a teaching style that makes sewing at all levels approachable to learn. I feel very fortunate to have found her as a teacher.

I am just getting started sewing - I have made a robe and now and 1/2 way through a shirt. I've taken the basic sewing courses with Tish, and she has gotten me off to a good start. I plan to take more as I advance through my projects . . . e.g. zippers before i start a pair of pants. Tish knows her stuff and knows how to teach to where I am, so I like her classes.

I can't say enough good things about Charlotte's teaching skills. I'm a novice sewer and with Charlotte's expertise, I have now successfully made two dresses! She is thorough and incredibly patient with all my rudimentary questions. The lessons didn't stop after our class was up - she answered my questions via text and email to ensure that I was able to apply her teachings. Anyone wanting to learn how to sew should look no further and enlish Charlotte's services! Thank you Charlotte!

I found Julie on Thumbtack 2 years ago and have been taking private sewing lessons from her ever since. I never sewed in my life (except Barbie clothes by hand when I was little), and she has covered so much with me over the years. We even had a class on fabric! This year, I was able to complete 2 Queen Elsa Frozen dresses for my granddaughters because of her teaching. She is a phenomenal, friendly, and fun teacher. I love to laugh, and we have a great time during class.

She exceeds my expectations. Danette keeps my 14 year-old daughter engaged for hours. I'm so thrilled with her teaching ability and her lesson plans.

My daughter and I have had one lesson so far and we loved it. Katy has a very calm and patient personality and she is very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her for sewing lessons for children or adults.
