FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Individual sessions are $120 per hour session. Student discounts are available.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I envision one of my functions as therapist as being a mirror for my clients. When we begin, I invite information to get a picture of the territory we are entering. In a first session, we are able to feel each other out. Many times, clients feel comfortable very quickly and we dive in to describing the current setting and feeling. I am also interested, in the very beginning, in knowing what is longed for so we can begin imagining our trajectory and building momentum toward new hopeful horizons from the start.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Formal education includes: Doctoral candidate (and a master's degree) in Depth Psychology specializing in Somatic Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute (2017); Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from CU in Denver (2013); Bachelor's degrees in Philosophy, and cum laude in Sociology from CU Boulder (1999); 5 years of training in Applied Existential Psychotherapy with Dr. Betty Cannon.
