Yoga changed my life. I have always prioritized physical fitness, but not always for the healthiest reasons. Since introducing yoga to my life I noticed that not only do I feel like I am physically strong and healthy, but I am also mentally and emotionally able to flow with whatever comes my way. It’s been an incredible journey that I feel called to share.
I’ve spent the majority of my adult life chasing the life I thought I “should” have. I have struggled with self-limiting beliefs surrounding body image, feeling worthy, the need to please, and much more. Yoga allows me to create an environment filled with controlled discomfort where I can practice facing my fears in a safe space, and ultimately teaching me to face those fears everywhere. In my practice, I work towards unbecoming - peeling away the layers of fog, doubt and judgement, and I focus on releasing attachment to any particular outcome. When I do this, I can love mySelf and then I am able to share that love with others on a much deeper level.
Once I felt the effects of how the practice of yoga changed my life I was inspired to share it with others. I left my corporate career, spent a month living in a van and then moved to Colorado to pursue yoga full time. I am an RYT 200 and it is my greatest honor and privilege to share my practice with those that can relate.
