Michelle was extremely easy to talk with regarding the piano problem and what her methods were to tune and repair the keys. Will definitely use her for all future piano tuning and repairs.

Ryan responded quickly to my request on Thumbtack and was able to schedule piano tuning promptly. Given my description of the services (tuning a piano that had been moved cross-country, twice, without being tuned), he quoted me a price for a more involved tuning. When he performed the service, he said the piano was not as badly out of tune as would be expected after several moves, and he only charged me for a more routine tuning. I really appreciated his professionalism and candor, and my daughter appreciated having a tuned piano during her most recent visit!

Sue was very polite, professional, and punctual! My piano hasn't been tuned for about 3 years now, and after she tuned it, it sounded beautifully once again!! I was hesitant to hire her at first because she only have 2 reviews, but i took a chance and now i am so glad i did! She was excellent! I would definitely hire her again!

      About

As a piano technician, I can tune, regulate, voice your piano, and make needed repairs. Individual situations will vary, but during a tuning appointment, I will generally perform the following: • Assess the condition of your piano • Ask about any concerns with the instrument’s condition or operation • Recommend any adjustments or repairs that may be required before tuning • Tune each of the strings to the proper pitch standard • Recommend possible future work based on the condition of your piano The actual tuning may take around two hours, but might be longer depending on how out of tune the piano is, its general condition, and the environment where it is located. I also track when your piano was last tuned, and remind you, based on the piano’s situation and use, of when your next tuning is needed. By having me see your piano on a regular basis, I can help you avoid situations that may result in unnecessary expenses. Services and pricing for private clients: Tuning: $100 in Broomfield, Westminster, and surrounding area (20 mi. radius), and $120 for other communities. This service usually requires 1-2 hours to complete. Pitch raise: Included with tuning up to 50 cents. $20 for pitch raise of 50-100 cents. $40 if over 100 cents. Service call: $45/hour ($45 is the minimum) Estimate: $50. This fee will be applied toward payment of services other than tuning. Inspection of used piano: $75 Written appraisal: $125 I accept payment in the form of cash, check, or credit card at the time of the appointment.
