- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to start repairing computers because I enjoy working with computers and I get a sense of accomplishment when I can make something work better or bring it back from not working at all. I also enjoy helping people when they need it for work etc.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I see involve slow computers and problems connecting devices through a wireless network. Slow computers can mean many things including viruses, too much loaded in the start manager, corrupted registry entries and temp files not needed. The network issues are usually solved by troubleshooting all parts of the newtork.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The thing I wish people that call for my services knew is that they should not wait if they think they have a virus. Many times viruses can start out slowly and over time take over your entire computer. By waiting until they are sure they have a virus it might be doing damage to their system and data that might be harder to repair.
