Drums with Corey

Hi! I’m Corey, and I recently moved from Washington, DC to Parker, CO, with my wife and our golden retriever. I’m a 31 year old former college hockey player turned software engineer who has always had a passion for music and, especially, playing drums. I started playing drums when I was about 10 years old in school band and began learning on a full drum kit at 13. I’ve been playing ever since, and drumming has remained one of my favorite ways to have fun, be creative, and challenge myself. My goal is to share that passion with others and help students take that first step into the musical world. Whether you’re completely new to drums or looking to build on the skills you already have, I want to make lessons fun, encouraging, and tailored to what you want to learn. Most importantly, I want my students to enjoy playing. There’s nothing better than sitting behind a drum kit, learning a song you love, and realizing, “Hey, I can actually play this!”
