- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a standard base-fee followed by pricing that is directly connected to the amount of: time spent with the client(s), driving distance, and number of meetings. Each is negotiated before our work begins.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For weddings or memorial services, we typically have a phone conversation and decide if we need a follow-up meeting before the event. My many spiritual direction clients are mostly referred by word-of-mouth. But if there is no previous connection, I chat with the new person on the phone at least once and offer a variety of references before our first face-to-face meeting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've a Masters of Divinity and ordination in the PC(USA). I worked in a ski town and did about 300 weddings for resorts in the area. I've been under spiritual direction the whole of my adult life. As well, I've attended countless seminars and training events including: Hikomi training, Jungian dream analysis, Emotionally Focused Therapy training, EFT couples' therapy, 'Radical Presence' therapy, Rogerian therapy... I've been a practitioner of Zen for 20 years.
