When I contacted Dr. Ali few months ago, I had been recovering from chronic back pain (Herniated Disc) with a goal to get fit, get strong, get more confident and reinvigorate but like any novice I had a fear of getting hurt from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I made him aware of it and he made sure that he clearly explained different aspects of BJJ’s basic moves and positions and never made me feel out of place. I have seen myself make progress with each session. Dr. Ali has made it very fulfilling from a personal and physical standpoint through repetition & positive reinforcement Give it a shot, like myself, you won't regret it. I highly recommend him for all your Martial Arts/Self-Defense/Fitness needs

This review is coming from someone with previous martial arts experience. Coming from a an experience of family MMA style dojo, Coryson's Dojo was a breath of fresh air. At Coryson's you get a more personal training with small classes so there is opportunity to learn the things you are interested in. There are many different paths of Ninpo and Corysan has the knowledge and skill to teach you the traditional way and let you work on your own strengths. He also has a flexible schefule and is almost always ready to train. The dojo has a variety of ninja tools and weapons and he is always adding new things. The best part about Coryson's Dojo is the knowledge you take away from it. There are very few places in the US where ypu can learn real Ninpo and this is one of them. I can personally say that learning and practicing ninpo has improved my life in all assets.

Dave is a great instructor. I have learned tons from him. He is able to teach all levels of martial arts. I have had instruction form all over this great country and he is one of the best. He breaks every move down nice and slow to make sure no student gets hurt and so they understand the moves. Under his instruction I have never seen the gladiator style that I have seen in many other gyms. Again he makes sure his students learn in a safe friendly environment.

As a trainer in the fitness industry I hold a high standard for any Fitness professional that I would hire personally. Brett Hart is an expert in his field and truly gives his all to his clientele. He knows how to vary the intensity to match the efforts of a first-timer or a seasoned athlete. He is personable, well-organized, flexible in his scheduling and inspirational in his approach. I would highly recommend Brett for one-on-one, small group or large group kickboxing conditioning, martial arts and self defense training.

I could not recommend anyone more highly as a martial arts instructor. Sensei Legato is a highly experienced, dedicated teacher who has trained with a variety of grandmasters and high ranking students both in the United States and Japan. When I was working towards my black belt, he arranged weekend sessions on his free time to train myself and others. He is a teacher who will teach you not only to defend yourself and others, but to assimilate the philosophical teachings of martial arts into your lifestyle. His dedication to your growth will not end when you leave the mat, and as such I consider him a lifelong teacher and role model.

I have been going to Rocky Mountain Self Defense and Fitness since 2009. John is an excellent teacher. He always makes class fun and challenging at the same time. His knowledge of Krav Maga is very extensive. Its very difficult to find a Krav Maga instructor who is a 2nd Degree black belt. I have studied several methods of Martial Arts and even have a black belt in one of them but have not felt confident about defending myself until I joined Rocky Mountain Self Defense and Fitness and learned Krav Maga. I highly recommend it especially for women.

They say you can’t appreciate what you’ve got until it’s gone. So true! My husband and I have had ongoing medical problems as time has marched on, and knew it was time to do better things for our bodies, so we could continue working and enjoy activities most dear to us. So, we joined a health club within walking distance of our home and thought it would be a good idea to go through some personal training sessions to get us started on the right track. The ‘Force’ was with us, apparently, because we were paired with a wonderful, very experienced personal trainer, Kurt Weinreich. Well… Kurt was everything we had hoped for in a trainer and more. He was highly knowledgeable, very professional, and really listened to us as we explained our many health issues and desired goals. Over a period of 8 weeks, Kurt built a workout regimen for each of us individually that took these things into account, carefully observing our progress and continually checking in with us as our individual programs developed. He provided options to suit whatever body part was suffering on any given day, while always keeping a cheerful attitude as he methodically worked around our age-related difficulties. Due to our financial constraints, Kurt went out of his way to make sure we were ready to go it on our own, including providing a detailed workout summary to help guide us along in our new journey to better health and to being more able to live the rest of our lives to the fullest. We couldn’t have asked for a more positive experience. Thank you, Kurt…for everything. You’re simply the best!

About

Aikido of Denver "Doushin Juku" is a martial arts training center located in Denver. Our dojo's base philosophy is rooted in the traditional principles of Japanese martial arts “budo”, a way of achieving self-improvement through sincere martial arts practice. Our school's name, “Doushin Juku”, means the school of path to the heart. The name “Doushin” was given to our chief instructor Albright Sensei by Masando Sasaki Sensei (1929-2013), one of the direct disciples of the founder of aikido Morihei Ueshiba.

My method of training is the reason clients see results very quickly. Within weeks a strong basic understanding of movement is attained from learning "circuit motion" with a partner. In this case that will be me. A martial arts version of "patty cake", where two people synchronize hand positions with each other through continuous repititious clapping of each others hands (or sticks)

About

I teach both music and martial arts. It's a weird combo, I know, but it's what I love! I teach rock, metal and classical guitar styles. I teach most Korean martial arts.
