- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For the most part - it's straightforward. $100 for the first session and $70 for the follow ups. If someone wants Five Element Emotional Work - a little more like therapy followed by a session, then I charge $111. I also have some clients who love my tui na (Chinese Medical Massage) or cupping so much that they want extra time. I book an extra 30 minutes for $30 - so a standard plus 30 is 90 minutes for $100, where I spend that extra 30 minutes giving tui na or cupping that is requested. If I use very expensive products such as gold moxa or aromatherapy oils, then I charge extra for those products.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Just continuing to be in practice is an education. Every client and every case deepen your knowledge. I am not the same practitioner I was a year ago and in another year I will be more amazing. I do also do CEU's each year and look to deepen the knowledge base of things I see a lot of or that interest me.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to learn a medicine that went to the root of problems and fixed them. This is a truly amazing and powerful medicine.
